Role Overview

As a Wellness Assistant, your goal is to provide exceptional service by offering professional advice on healthcare, nutrition, and supplements. You will help customers find the right products for their needs while ensuring the store remains well-stocked and inviting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice to customers on healthcare, nutritional, and supplement products.
• Help drive sales by understanding customer needs and suggesting relevant products.
• Ensure health and wellness aisles are fully stocked and products are correctly displayed.
• Manage stock rotation to prevent wastage and follow risk management procedures to reduce stock loss.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the store.
• Follow all store operating procedures and merchandising guidelines.
• Share product knowledge with team members to ensure consistent customer service.

Requirements

• Education: Matric (Grade 12) with a minimum of 50% in English and 50% in Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy.
• Experience: At least 1 year of related retail experience, specifically working with sports nutrition and vitamin products.
• Product Knowledge: A solid understanding of basic health, fitness, and supplement products.
• Skills: Excellent communication, strong sales ability, and a customer-focused attitude.
• Preferred: A qualification in sports, fitness, or nutrition and basic computer literacy.
